Children Church- Today is beginning of our Children's Church, 3 K through second grade and directed by Mrs. Debbie Wall. Please continue to pray and invite others.
RA Father-Son Luncheon- All boys, first through twelfth grade and their fathers are invited to a Father- Son Luncheon on Saturday May 17,2008 at 11:30am in the fellowship building. Don't miss this great time together.
C.A. R. E. Ministry will begin to meet on Wednesday nights instead of Tuesday night "A" Team will meet Wednesday night at 6:00pm
POOR FOLK DINNER- The Seniors will be having a Poor Folk Dinner on Saturday June 14,@ 2:00pm in the fellowship building. Our menu sheet is on the communion table. please sign up, telling us what you can bring.
SENIOR TRIP TO PIGEON FORGE - The Seniors will be going to Pigeon Forge Tennessee on September 8th and Returning on September 10. All Seniors 55 yrs and up and are members of our church the cost will be $100.00 each All non-members cost will be $150.00 each please pay one half of the deposit by July 6th and the remaining half by August 10th All Seniors that plan to go please give your name and money to Betty or Leonard Hutchins
Sunday School Chairs beginning today, we will begin accepting contributions for new chairs for our adult Sunday School Classes. We would like to Purchase 120 new chairs like the ones in the fellowship building . this will provide for our current needs and allow for growth in short term. to accomplish this goal we need approximately $2600.00. We pray this can be accomplished by end of May.
Nominating Committee.- Deacons will be presenting Gin Ward, Ray Hutchins ,Gene Sewell to serve on the Nominating Committee. We will be accepting nominations from the church for three members to serve on the Nominating Committee for 2008-2009 year. Nominations forms are on the communion table and in the vestibule if you wish to Nominate someone to serve. Please be sure that you have their permission before you present their name. Nominations will be accepted through May 18th. We will vote on May 25th to elect our Nominating Committee Please turn in your forms to Margie Reece.
